It is great pleasure that the Czech Figure Skating Association invite you to the 10th PRAGUE CUP.

The Prague Cup 2011 is International Synchronized Skating Event for BASIC NOVICE, ADVANCED NOVICE, JUNIOR, SENIOR and ADULT Categories hosted by the Czech Figure Skating Association. This synchronized skating competition is organized according to the current International Skating Rules and applicable ISU Communications.

PLACE: TESLA Arena, Za Elektrárnou 419, Prague 7
There are the competition and practice rink located - both rinks are 30 x 60 meters (covered, heated).


GENERAL RULES

The Prague Cup will be conducted in accordance with the ISU General Regulations 2010 and Special Regulations & Technical Rules Synchronized Skating 2010, as well as all relevant ISU Communications, including guidelines for Novice competitions.

Participation in the Prague Cup 2011 is open to all teams who belong to an ISU Members and whose team members qualify with regard to eligibility according to Rule 102, age limits specified in Rule 108, paragraph 3) and meet the participation, citizenship and residency requirements in Rule 109. Passports of all skaters, as well as the ISU Clearance Certificate, if applicable, must to be presented at the accreditation.


CATEGORIES

Senior: 16 skaters; all of whom must have reached the age of fourteen (14) before July 1st 2010.

Short Program - max. 2 min. 50 sec., but may be less
The required elements to be skated are listed in the ISU Special Regulations for Synchronized Skating 2010, Rule 905, paragraph 1 and 2, Group A and all pertinent ISU Communications.

Free Skating - 4 min. 30 sec. +/- 10 sec.
The Free Skating must be well-balanced program according to ISU Special Regulations for Synchronized Skating 2010, Rule 911 and all pertinent ISU Communications.

Junior: 16 skaters; all of whom must have reached the age of twelve (12) and may not have reached the age of nineteen (19), before July 1st 2010.

Short Program - max. 2 min. 50 sec., but may be less
The required elements to be skated are listed in the ISU Special Regulations for Synchronized Skating 2010, Rule 905, paragraph 1 and 2, Group A and all pertinent ISU Communications.

Free Skating - 4 min. +/- 10 sec.
The Free Skating must be well-balanced program according to ISU Special Regulations for Synchronized Skating 2010, Rule 911 and all pertinent ISU Communications.

Advanced Novice: 16 skaters; all of whom must have reached the age of ten (10) and may not have reached the age of fifteen (15) before July 1st 2010. (Comm. 1649)

The Free Skating program must be a well-balanced program according to ISU Regulations for Synchronized Skating 2010 and all pertinent ISU Communications.

Basic Novice A: up to 12 skaters; all of whom must have reached the age of ten (10) and may not have reached the age of fifteen (15), before July 1st 2010. (Comm. 1649)

Free Skating Program - 3 min. 30 sec. +/- 10 sec.
The Free Skating program must be a well-balanced program according to ISU Regulations for Synchronized Skating 2010 and all pertinent ISU Communications.

Basic Novice B: up to 16 skaters; all of whom must have reached the age of ten (10) and may not have reached the age of fifteen (15), before July 1st 2010. (Comm. 1649)

Free Skating Program - 3 min. 30 sec. +/- 10 sec.
The Free Skating program must be a well-balanced program according to ISU Regulations for Synchronized Skating 2010 and all pertinent ISU Communications.

Adult: 8 to 16 skaters; all of whom must have reached the age of twenty-five (25) and may not have reached the age of seventy-one (71), before July 1st 2010. Up to 25 % of a team may be from a foreign Member, if so permitted by the National Association of the country of which the Skater is a citizen, but such Skaters shall only represent on Member in the course of the same year.

Free Skating Program - min. 2 min. 30 sec., max. 3 min. 30 sec.
The teams must skate a balanced Free Skating Program which may contain the following five (5) elements:
1. one (1) block
2. one (1) circle
3. one (1) line
4. one (1) wheel
5. one (1) intersection

Additional elements may be incorporated into the Free Skating Program and will be judged as transitions and/or choreography components. The Program Content sheet should indicate which additional elements are transition/choreography elements.
Definitions of recommended elements are in accordance with ISU Rules 903 and 911, paragraph 4. Adults follow the Novice requirements: Each team can execute the highest level but the level call by the Technical Panel will be the highest minus one level. Difficulty Groups of Elements and Features and the description of the requirements are in accordance with the pertinent ISU Communications.

The Free Skating program must be a well-balanced program according to ISU Regulations for Synchronized Skating 2010 and all pertinent ISU Communications.

The final results will be determined as the combined result according to the ISU Regulations 2010, Rule 738 (ISU Judging System).

ENTRIES AND NOMINATION FORMS

Entries of Teams, nominated Judges and Team Leaders must be made only by the respective National Associations on the designated Official Forms and sent no later than December 1, 2010 to:

The Entry Fee of 10.000,- CZK per each participating Senior and Junior Team and 8.000,- CZK per each Basic and Advanced Novice Team, must be paid through bank transfer by December 1, 2010 at latest to:
